Accounts Payable Technician
We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Technician with proven ability in various accounting functions. The major responsibilities of this position are:

Experience in full cycle accounting for a medium- sized manufacturing business.

Processing accounts payable transactions.

Month end journal entries and bank reconciliations.
-
Expense reconciliations.

Balance sheet reconciliation for month end.

Involvement in maintenance of capital asset sub-ledger.
Skills, knowledge and experience

3 - 5 years experience processing accounts payable transactions.

Must have hands on experience using Great Plains.

Installer
We are recruiting for experienced Installers, who will work under the general direction of the Installation Lead, the Installer will disassemble RIVA and prepare for shipping to customer location. Once on site, the Installer will unpack, move, and install fully-assembled RIVA pieces into the final customer location.

Installs equipment into customer site as needed. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and reports

Reconstructs equipment required by customer

Accountable for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing IHS equipment. Performs testing, calibration, checking, correcting, adjusting and part component replacement services on IHS products during install

Performing tests, tuning, and adjustments to the equipment utilizing various tools and machines such as computers, workstations, circuit diagrams to obtain optimum operating performance. Tests the operation of all components of each system to properly establish service

Interprets maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams

Analyzes malfunctions in equipment and repairs equipment utilizing knowledge of mechanics/electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools

Consults with product support and engineering personnel to determine solutions to unusual problems in the system

Implements design modifications and provide installation support for the modifications. Performs start-up service as defined in specifications. Maintains service equipment, tools and documentation. Make connections and required adjustments as directed; tests operation of all components of each system to properly establish service.

Evaluates information furnished for the job, delivered materials, layout of customer's premises and practical routes for cable, conduit and/or wiring

Complies with sterile procedure during installs in sterile environments

Commissioning Engineer
We have an immediate opening for a commissioning engineer, who will travel to customer sites to perform technical hands on tasks and oversee the installation of RIVA. The successful candidate will be required to provide effective leadership to the installation team and will be accountable for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing IH Systems equipment. They will also perform testing, calibration, checking, correcting, adjusting and part component replacement services on IH Systems products during installation. Specific responsibilities of this role include:

Serves as the Team Lead and assists with on-site operation activities (staff scheduling/coverage, training and development, administration and reporting, etc.).

Installs equipment into customer site as needed. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and reports

Oversees the install team in performing and/or themselves performing testing, tuning, and adjusting to equipment to obtain optimum operating performance. Tests the operation of all components of each system to properly establish service.

Responsible for inspection of work performed by install teams on site for correctness and completeness.

Operating the system to demonstrate the equipment and to analyze malfunctions

Is responsible for preparing the equipment and assisting in the completion of the on site Acceptance Test Plan (ATP)

Broad technical knowledge base including mechanical, electrical and software including PLC based electro-mechanical automated systems, automated systems with sensors, servo motors, stepper motors, electrical grippers and robotic arms

Must have excellent computer skills.

Must be familiar and/or trained with installation know-how, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures.

Must have some experience leading a team.

Must work well within a team and have good written/oral communication skills.

Application Engineer
We are recruiting for an Application Engineer to complement our existing team. This role will be located in our head office in Winnipeg. The Application Engineer works closely with sales executives and customers during the latter stages of the sales process to develop the technical specifications for that particular site. Once a system is sold, they become the primary point of contact for the customer and act as the Project Manager for installation process. The Application Engineer has a detailed understanding of both RIVA, and the customer’s usage of RIVA. This knowledge is also used to develop specifications for future product developments. Specific accountabilities include:

Be recognized as a technical expert for the application of RIVA.

Is the senior point of contact to assigned customers.
-
Provide technical guidance and expertise to customers who are considering purchase of a RIVA unit. This includes customer visits, site assessments, and attendance at trade shows.

Understands customers needs and translates this into technical specifications including throughput analysis, interface requirements, physical installation requirements, and ramp up strategy.
-
Is the project manager on new installs which includes coordination of all internal and external activities related to the installation.
-
Communicate on an ongoing basis with customers to be sure that customer requirements and expectations are aligned and met by the IH Systems team.
-
Provides regular and ongoing guidance on strategies to improve performance – both process related improvements as well as user optimization.
-
Providing the technical link between IH Systems and the customer.

Evaluates competitor’s products to determine cost/feature metrics.
Education and Experience

B.Sc. Engineering, or an Engineering Technologist Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Project Management certification and/or equivalent experience.
Skills and knowledge

Experience in implementing new technology or automation into a work setting would be a definite asset.

Ability to translate complex processes into detailed customer requirements.
